About

Endcast is an industrial metal music project founded by Martin Dimitrov and Theo Todorov on October 3rd, 2015. Currently in the final stages of a very long development process, with an expected release by 2026.

Unlike other bands in the genre this formation consists of only two members with unconventional roles: an audio engineer/multi-instrumentalist and a web developer/financier. In today's music industry this seemed to be the only way to survive long enough to attempt to produce high quality music. One member becomes an entire band and the other becomes an entire independent label.

The name Endcast is a combination of the words "endless" and "outcast". A one word summary. It came about in October of 2022. Before that we simply called it "The Project".

We wanted to have a single word for a name that encompassed the themes, lyrics and style of the music. Since we are both social outcasts who find more meaning in work than in regular life, this seemed to fit.

The logo was created out of a simple combination of an "E" on top of a "C". It turned out to be a perfect symbol - a person with their hands in the air who's had enough of everything.

Our goal musically was to recreate the same experience that we had listening to our favorite bands while growing up. That magic and quality of sound and performance which seems to have disappeared with modern software and social media apart from the dedicated few. Music used to be about quality and not quantity. It was very expensive to produce so people had to put much more effort and care into it. Nowadays it is all made on a laptop and they fix it in the mix. It is all about the social media presence and living the lifestyle rather than creating songs that provoke thought and last longer than the latest trend.

Whether we succeeded in creating music that has that special quality will be up to the audience to decide, but we gave it our all.

The Members

Born in Sofia (Bulgaria), the founders met in high school in late 2007. At the time there was no indication that any of them would have anything to do with music. Neither had prior musical experience or any musicians in the family but in the years to come many events would steer them in the direction that will ultimately lead to the creation of Endcast. We will leave those details for a separate history section on the website, that will come in the future.
